We live in an area of outstanding beauty ,near Ashdown Forest, originally a deer hunting forest in Norman times. It has the largest free public access space in the South East. It is a great place for walking and enjoying spectacular views over the Sussex countryside and it is known the world over as the home of Winnie-the -Pooh . We are 20 mins from the Historic town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. It's pretty colonnaded walkways have plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes specialist shops . We are 30 mins to Gatwick Airport. 15 mins from East Grinstead Station. 45 mins to Brighton. Forest Row is our local Village. It has lovely restaurants and health food shops, lovely local pubs and more. It is 7 mins from the house.
