Large Bright Double Room in Townhouse

I have a large double room available for rent in my 3/4 bed townhouse to share with myself and Katie. Looking for a mature respectful professional female who likes cats and knows a little about how to care for them as Theodore my 4 year old Bengal/Maine coone runs the house. I tend to travel a lot as I’m self employed and Katie works at the university in sports. Both of us are really busy but once a week we have dinner together and a catch up. This is more like a home than a HMO so looking for someone likeminded so we can all get along and have fun sometimes. Very laidback house with lots going on renovations wise. The house is 3 stories, I have the top floor and the middle floor has two double rooms and a shower room. It’s currently just me but eventually I’ll be renting the other room out as well, so the shower room will eventually be shared but for the time being it’ll be just for your use.

Shared kitchen and lounge. The lounge is undergoing renovations. It’s usable but it means there’s lots of stuff and furniture flying around at the moment. There’s off street parking at the back as well as free parking on the street. A very large garden, also going through some renovations but the patio has a homemade bar, darts, sofa so in the summer it’s a perfect bbq area.

I’ve had this house for 7 years now and have had many housemates, some good some bad so I’m looking for someone like minded; calm, easygoing, looking to share some evenings as well as do their own thing. The usual drill. It’s only a 15 minute walk into town, with a lovely view of the field. This house can be a quite a social house sometimes, other times I can be a bit of a nerd as I love nights in with board games.

I’m self employed and travel a lot so my life can be a little hectic as I don’t have a routine, but it means sometimes I’m in a lot and others I’m barely here!

£600 per month, includes all bills including subscriptions to Netflix, prime and Disney. I do all the groundwork and maintenance myself so would be nice to have someone who enjoys being house proud as well to help me out but it’s not a big deal if not. The room is the biggest in the house, newly renovated, with a very comfy memory foam mattress. A 3 door wardrobe and a bright desk area should you work from home.
