Nice bright, large, double bedroom with high ceilings. Laminate floors and fully furnished, with: double bed, 2 wardrobes and chest of drawers.
Room is in 2 bedroom house on the architect designed Bishopsfield estate in Harlow which are some of the most unique houses in the area. House is split level and Lounge area has 4m high ceilings. The house is pretty large for a 2 bedroom at over 80sqm and feels much bigger due to the extra volume from the high ceilings throughout.
It is very bright and airy and the main space is open plan.
There is a kitchen with dining area and a washing machine and fridge. there is high speed internet provided by virgin media.
There is also a decked secluded private garden area that all the rooms of the house look onto which is insanely sunny in the Summer.
Parking wise there isn't any off street parking but there is parking in Bishopsfield and the neighbouring streets.
I own the house and live here full time so you would be sharing with just myself and my little dog. I recently bought the house and have done quite extensive renovations on it.
I am a mature student studying podiatry which is a pretty full on medical based course so I am in uni 4 days a week and I work 2 half days as well currently. I will be graduating in a couple of months though and then working full time. As I am working with vulnerable people this also means that I have an enhanced DBS certificate.
Outside of that I'm very creative and have an interest in design. I don't really have much spare time at the moment but when I do I like to just chill in the lounge really and love a good binge watch of series on Netflix or go to the gym/swim or out walking with my dog.
I'm pretty chilled and my partying days are long behind me now so I'm looking for a housemate that is maybe similar in that respect. Also looking for someone that has a full time job and just single occupancy, not open to couples and would rather live with a girl or another gay guy.
Room is available more or less immediately and I am open to having a lodger fairly long term so if its working and we get on I don't really have a maximum term at the moment but would probably say an initial 6 months to see how its working and then take it from there.
Rent is inclusive of all bills including internet and council tax.
