A 35 minute walk the other way will take you to the London/Cambridge railway line.
You can of course drive both in under 5 minutes.
There’s also a bus stop at the end of the road that runs to Cambridge and Stansted and beyond.
Likely you’ll own a car and parking is plentiful on-street and free.
The location is ideal for the science parks, Stansted Airport (if you don’t want to live in Stortford) and obviously the local towns such as Saffron Walden.
