The room is a good size and very light due to the large bay window and high ceiling. It is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chests of drawers and a desk. The the floor is laminated in a light wood effect, white walls and pine furniture and grey blackout curtains so you can sleep in the day if needed.
There is a full bathroom and a separate shower on the first floor, and a toilet and basin on the ground floor.
We are very impressed with the current sharers who keep the house spick and span...so it is nice to come home to they say.
Overlooking the garden is the kitchen diner, again with big windows opening onto the patio area. The garden is well cared for as is the house. There are further cared for gardens surrounding the house.
All the usual appliances are in the kitchen diner, including a washing machine and dryer. There is a washing line to freshen your clothes on.
The house is very near to Southend East, and from here you can walk into town or to the seafront in 10-15 minutes. Nearby are local Sainsbury and Tesco, as well as various churches.
The other people in the house may work night shifts so in principle the house is quiet so that people can sleep when they need to.
The owners are members of SEAL, the local professional landlords network, therefore the property is well run, with many tenants staying very long term.
