Spacious double bedroom (former master bedroom) in 5 bed detached house. Furnished with a four poster double bed, bedside table, tall boy, triple wardrobe, a chest of draws, a bookcase, a large mirror and an armchair. A desk and chair are available in the separate study.

The bedroom is without ensuite but you will be the sole user the bathroom, and have full use of the kitchen and the garden.

Plenty of parking and storage space, including space for a bike in the garage. Wireless broadband. Council Tax and bills are included, except landline phone. Short distance to the University of Essex (10 minutes by bike, 5 minutes by car, approx 20-25 minutes walking), 30 minutes walk / 10 minutes bike ride to Wivenhoe station (1 hr commute to London, Liverpool St Station).

Suitable for a professional single person (post graduate student or an academic); no couples, pets or children. I am advertising as 7 days per week, but happy to consider weekdays only.

We are live-in landlords, both me and my husband professionals working full-time at the University for over 25 years. We also have a small elderly dog (Border terrier) who is happy to see new people - it is very important that you are a dog lover and get along with him. We work in hybrid pattern (office/home), like to watch movies and serials, cook , listen to Bach and going to theatre.
