We are renting out a double bedroom in our family home, just outside St Andrews. The property is newly built but in a traditional cottage style. All appliances are new and the decor is immaculate.

You will have a private double bedroom with wardrobe, draws, desk and t. v.

More about the property and location:

The house is situated in a quite hamlet 2 miles outside of St Andrews. There is almost no traffic on the road so it's a very quiet location. There's plenty of nice walks from the house, the most popular being the pilgrims way which goes past the front of the property. The Dukes golf course is a couple of minutes away and also offers nice walks.

You will be sharing the house with myself, my husband and two very friendly Corgis so it's essential that you get on with dogs. They are very very friendly, love people and are well behaved. Dog walks are available free of charge ;)

Getting into St Andrews town centre:

St Andrews town centre is only 2 miles. Although it is walkable it probably not a walk you would want to take every day. We recommend you only consider this property if you are very fit or have a car!

Times to town centre:

Driving: 3 minutes
Cycling: 10 minutes to get into town. 40 minutes to get home as it's up hill
Walking: 1 hour
Taxi: 3 minutes, £10-£12
Bus: 10 minute walk to stop, leave every 2 hours
