Double room with private bathroom

Private hallway

This lodging includes a small private hallway leading to a private large double room, bathroom, and airing cupboard. There is a large communal kitchen and a lodger would have a couple of their own cupboards. There is a patio garden with bbq, welcome to use. House is in very quiet area, lovely views from the bedroom over to the pentlands. There is a double garage if you require storage or parking.

We are a professional couple who have recently bought a 4 bedroom house in dunfermline. In our spare time we enjoy hill walking, paddle boarding and wild swimming (one of us for the last one anyway!). We have come from Edinburgh and will likely still be crossing the bridge sometimes to meet friends and enjoy an evening out so we won't be in all the time! There will be no pressure to socialise with us but we are very friendly when you fancy a chat. We dont mind if you are someone who is out alot or home alot- as long as we dont get regularly woken up in the early hours. We are clean and tidy and would like someone who is the same (at least in the communal area).

We only moved in this week and are planning to paint the room white and put some nice white and navy curtains in to replace the very pink/purple decor (unless you like this in which case we are happy to leave it). We have a white double bed and bedside tables to go in the room and there is a very large built in wardrobe with additional shelves. However if you have your own furniture you are very welcome to bring that as we have another room we can use the white in. Essentially happy to flexible and tailor to your taste if possible. We have put the room on for the end of august to allow us time to decorate but if you like the current decor we could consider someone moving in sooner.
