My current housemate will be moving out when our tenancy ends in September, hence there will be a double room available to rent for £538 pcm (I can’t change the rent showing on the ad for some reason!).

About the property:

It is a new build apartment situated on the 14th floor (we have lifts!), which comprises of 2 double bedrooms, master bathroom with bath (which would be solely yours) and open plan lounge/kitchen. We also benefit from a balcony which is a great addition. The kitchen is equipped with all the usual appliances, including dishwasher. We also have an on-site cinema room, residents gym and 24hr concierge - great to sign for any online shopping! It is very secure with fob access to the complex and building, I feel very safe here! There is a big Sainsbury’s and a few other shops opposite (boots, TK Maxx, sports direct etc) and a KFC and McDonalds at the bottom of the road which is a great pit stop after a night out! PARKING AVAILABLE - ADDITIONAL £120pcm.

About your potential new housemate:

I am a 25 year old professional, working in Project Management at a fashion brand in the Northern Quarter. I’ve lived in Manchester almost 3yrs and love it here! I work Mon-Fri (though I do work from home 1-2 days a week) so I’m looking for a new flatmate who I can make genuine friends with.. have dinner with in the evenings, or catch up with the soaps and reality TV etc! At the weekends, I enjoy going out for drinks/dinner, and just generally socialising :)

My potential new housemate:

I’m a firm believer that your home is your haven, and as such keep everywhere really clean and tidy so you would need to be the same. I’ve never understood people who stack dishes next to the sink, refuse to empty a bin or don’t wipe up after themselves - if this is you, sadly this tenancy isn’t for you! I also appreciate everyone likes their own space but it is super important for me to have a flatmate who actually wants to socialise, rather than someone who stays in their room every single night or is away every weekend. Equally, respecting each other as flatmates is SO important with regards to noise and general niceness!
