This is a large double room, the only room on the ground floor of our four-storey house. The room has it's own bathroom and shower. It shares a modest kitchen and dining area with one other lodger, which is also on the ground floor, so it feels a little like a self-contained flat.

The room has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, a small desk, large flat-screen TV and double leather chesterfield sofa and footstool.

The house has excellent wireless broadband usually over 50 Mbps. This is included in the rental as are all the bills. We also include a weekly cleaner who will regularly wash and replace your bed linen as well as clean your room and the kitchen area.

We have one other lodger on the top floor and my wife and I tend to live and use only the middle two floors of the house for most of the time.

Summertown is a lively and very popular place to live. We are well served with shops, bars and restaurants all just a couple of minutes walk away. There are also several Gyms and Swimming Pools very close by, the nearest is just a 3-minute walk.

You have easy access to both Oxford Central Train and Bus Station, within a 15 min bus ride and the new Oxford Parkway station is about 10 mins by bus. Both Train stations serve London (Paddington or Marylebone) in around 50 mins.

We’re well placed for both University and JR Hospital staff, both are around 12 minutes by bus or bicycle.

There is no parking unfortunately at Scholar Mews and parking nearby can be challenging (that's Oxford I'm afraid!). There is a bicycle shed and our house is one of eight within a small private development, with shared electric security gates.

My wife and I own and operate several skin clinics and often work from home during the week. We have a modern, tidy and calm house where you will be able to rest and relax.
