There’s also a private well-maintained back garden and free parking across the road from the property. The room is available for rent for £550 per month and is inclusive of all bills including unlimited high speed Wi-Fi. The property is on the residential part of Plumstead High Street across from the public library.

Transport
Plumstead Overground Station is a 10 minute walk away with direct trains every 10 minutes into central London in 25 minutes. Nearby Woolwich DLR station (a short 5-8 minute bus ride away) also has a transport time of approx. 20 minutes to central London, Stratford and Canary Wharf. In the other direction, buses outside the property and Plumstead Overground go direct to nearby Abbey Wood and the Thamesmead area.

The area
Plumstead and Woolwich are going through a massive regeneration at the moment, getting a boost in investment due to the upcoming Crossrail. Within a 10 minute walk from the house is Plumstead Common with lovely cafes and green areas - it's basically Clapham Common but without the annoying crowds! Bostall Woods is a short walk away in the other direction which has some beautiful scenic walks if you want that feeling of getting away from London for a bit! The High Street has all your day-to-day needs and Woolwich has the larger retail stores and some nice markets also that pop up at weekends including Farmers' Market and Street Feast.

Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone clean and considerate who doesn't mind chipping in every now and then with keeping the house in order! Also, someone friendly and easy-going who's used to living in a house share. Preference would be for a working professional but a student who isn’t looking for a party house and who has a mature head on their shoulders is fine also.

About us
I work as a paramedic while my other housemate works in healthcare recruitment. We're both sociable and friendly people and like to catch up in the evening but also like to do our own thing. It's a nice, easy-going house atmosphere so we're hoping to have someone join us with the same mindset!
