Beautifully Loft Rooms in Renovated Harringay Home

Hi! I’m Alex and a live-in landlord in a beautifully newly renovated and extended four-bedroom home in Harringay, near Green Lanes and the Ladder, with a lovely new garden too.

I have two bright double rooms available in my brand-new loft extension, finished to a high standard. The rooms share a modern shower room, and you’ll also have access to the kitchen, laundry room, and garden (the living room is kept as a private space).

I’m a primary school teacher and live here with my small, well-behaved dog, Luna, who is a maltipoo. I’m also expecting a baby at the end of September and will be doing this as a solo mum, so I’m renting out the rooms short-term (mid-May to mid-September, around 4 months) to help save a bit ahead of that.

I enjoy a calm, homey environment — yoga, reading, sewing, and catching up with friends locally. It’s generally a quiet house with early nights, so it would suit someone with a similar lifestyle. I’m ideally looking for someone who works outside the home and is happy to share a relaxed, respectful space.

House guidelines are simple and just help keep things comfortable for everyone: no shoes indoors, food kept to downstairs areas, and no parties or overnight guests. I’m afraid the house isn’t suitable for additional pets.

The room at the front of the house is due to have a new set of chest of drawers and bedside tables in about a week when they arrive and the back bedroom has limited storage (a small hanging rail with hanging shelves). The back room also has my peloton in it, which will need to stay there but I won’t use whilst you’re staying!
