Edinburgh University's Kings Buildings are a 5 min walk, and George Square is 8 minutes on the bus.

The rooms are all let on an individual basis. Meaning there are no risky group deposits and no 'lead tenants'. Everyone has their own individual contract and deposit and can deal directly with the landlord without going through agents. You can also transfer your lease to someone else (assuming you can find them) at any point in the contract.

There is also a shared kitchen, bathroom and living area, and bike storage in the stairwell.
