Lovely home in Clapham North

Hi there!

We’re Lucy and Cecily, and we’re looking for a third girl to take a room in our flat when our flatmate Abbie moves out.

The flat is a lovely split-level (1st and 2nd floors of a Victorian terrace), 3 bed in Clapham North. We’re a 5 minute walk from Clapham North tube, 10 minutes from Brixton or Stockwell tubes. Clapham Common is also just down the road. It really is a brill location! There’s also a lovely pub 2 minutes away!

THE FLAT
Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en suite), separate living room and kitchen. You would be sharing the main bathroom with mostly only one other person. Lucy has been in the flat for a year and Cecily has been here for five months. The flat was painted and fitted with a new bathroom, and new carpets about 18 months ago so it’s in good nick. We have a big fridge-freezer and washing machine, no tumble dryer, but plenty of space in the living room for a clothes horse.

We rent directly with a private landlord so there are no silly agency fees and it's all very relaxed.

THE ROOM
The room is the smallest of the three and the rent is split to reflect this. It’s cosy but genuinely lovely. It comes with a double bed, large built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There’s plenty of space for a bedside table to be added. It’s towards the back of the house so is very quiet, and gets lovely sun in the morning.

THE FLATMATES
Lucy (25) works in PR/comms and comes with some excellent floristry skills, and Cecily (25) is a data analyst for a supermarket and is willing to share the 10% staff discount. We enjoy the classic mix of loving nights in, watching Bake Off/Broadchurch/TOWIE with a glass of prosecco and cooking together, but also have busy social lives outside of the flat, so are often out in the evenings or away at weekends. We love each other’s company and are always on hand for a moan about work or a giggle over a G&T.

YOU
We are hoping to find a third girl who is looking for a proper home and some new friends, rather than just a room to crash in. Our preferences are that you're aged 25-30, that you work normal office hours and that you are tidy, considerate and sociable!
