THE HOUSE

This room is available now. This is my house and has been since early 2015 when I moved to Sheffield. It’s a delight living here and I hope you will enjoy it too!

The bedroom is spacious and comprises a double bed, desk, and large wardrobe. The room was redecorated in the last year and has only had occasional guests staying since. The Bedroom is furnished to include double bed (feather duvet/pillows, bedside table and desk with lights and large wardrobe). Wooden blinds and curtains are also included. The bathroom has power shower and bath and is only occasionally shared as I have a shower in my own room. The kitchen contains all conveniences including washing machine and dishwasher. There is a nice dining area in the open plan kitchen. The small outside decking area is an oasis in the city with potted plants, a bench and chairs. There are two very comfortable sitting rooms downstairs.

The house is in stone and was built in the 1840s with many original features. Located in trendy Broomhill we are very near to town, both universities and the Hallamshire hospital. The 120 bus route is nearby and provides regular and easy access to the train station. Roadside parking is available on application from the council for a permit (additional one off annual cost). Local shops and restaurants are within 2 minutes walk. There is easy access to Peak District (10-15minute drive).

The price includes broadband, water, gas, electricity, council tax and weekly cleaner.

ABOUT ME AND MY IDEAL HOUSEMATE

I am a friendly 36 year old guy originally from Liverpool and now based in Sheffield. I'm looking for another student/young professional to live with. I must stress, the house is my home and I sometimes hold meetings here but it’s generally quiet. I am a clean and tidy guy. I'd like to find a housemate who is sociable but equally someone who has their own life. It would be nice to occasionally grab a pint at the local pub or a meal at home in occasionally with a house mate but I’m generally engaged in my work.

I have put a lot of time and money into the house and so it goes without saying that I'm looking for someone who is respectful and keeps it nice and tidy.
