Lovely furnished double room in Peckham houseshare

We are currently looking for a fourth housemate to join the tenancy in our lovely four-bedroom house in Queens Road Peckham.

The house is situated on a quiet residential street just 4 minutes walk from Queens Road Peckham station (7 minute train to London Bridge; Overground connections to Jubilee Line (Canada Water - 7 minutes) and East London (Shoreditch - 16 mins)). It is also a 10 minute walk from Nunhead station and 14 minutes walk from Peckham Rye station, both of which have direct trains to Victoria, Blackfriars, King's Cross etc, and 10 minutes walk from Peckham. There are good bus links for the surrounding area and into central London. The house is within walking distance of lots of good bars, pubs, restaurants, and shops.

The airy double room is on the ground floor with a window looking into the large back garden. It comes with a comfy double bed and storage space included.

The house has two bathrooms with shower/bath and toilet, plus a separate toilet. We also have a good size kitchen and a furnished living room.

We're a group of three friends, laid-back, friendly, clean and considerate, and are looking for a like-minded person to join us from end of May onwards, likely for 6 months. Ideally you’ll be up for chats about intersectional feminist politics while doing the washing up, but also down for a party; you’ll be sociable and fun as well as tidy, clean, respectful and independent.

The move-in date is May 25th. It is a minimum six-month tenancy, with the possibility to extend.

Rent is £578 per month plus around £100 for bills, including cost of a weekly cleaner.

£555 is required in advance as a deposit, plus £30 for credit check and £30 for secure deposit scheme. We coordinate everything directly with the landlord so there are no extra hidden estate agent fees.
