This is unique and high class accommodation in 400 year old house within short walk from Dursley town centre.
On offer is a large light, comfortable attic room with a modern shower ensuite. There is a great rooftop view from the window, a comfy double bed, clothes storage, table and seating. As you would expect with an attic room there is restricted height at the sides of the room. Also, the room is at the top of several flights of stairs, so would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
The shared spaces in the house are the kitchen and the downstairs sitting room and dining area. However, I do have my own snug upstairs which I use most of the time. There is a woodburning stove in the sitting room which keeps it cosy in the winter. Also there is internet TV. The kitchen is recently refurbished, has washing machine and dishwasher and is well equipped for cooking.
Bed linen and towels can be provided. The room is offered with all bills included in the rent.
There is a small pretty garden with patio and sitting out areas to enjoy in the better weather.
There is no onsite parking but there is a long stay car park opposite the property.
The accommodation is a short walking distance from the centre of the town which offers its own hospital, library, swimming pool, various gyms and supermarkets, a famous real ale pub and various excellent eating establishments.
Dursley has easy access to the M5 motorway, so travel is easy to Bristol, Gloucester, Cheltenham as well as Swindon and Bath.
I am quite busy with my own interests and projects during the day. I am looking for someone who is an easy going, friendly person with whom to share this space, and who also appreciates this unique old house.
