Spacious double room

Monday to Friday (four nights per week). Available from Tuesday 9th May. We have a well-behaved 5-month old puppy so you must like dogs please!

Spacious and well furnished double room to let in my home in Fairford within easy commuting distance of Cirencester / Swindon / Cheltenham / Witney.

The room has a double bed, wardrobe space and drawers.

The main bathroom is immediately next door to the room (modern white suite with bath and separate shower). It may be used very occasionally by other guests (our friends staying the occasional night) but that would usually only be at a weekend so most of the time it’s all yours. We, the homeowners, have our own bathroom on a separate floor.

The kitchen is large, light and spacious (leading out to a well maintained garden) and is the hub of the home. We keep the sitting room as a private room for ourselves.

Suitable for a professional working in the area during the week but with a permanent home base elsewhere. Arrival on Monday afternoon/evening and departure on Friday morning. You must be working outside the home during the day, please.

Would consider whole week if your are working down here only temporarily. The main criteria is that you have a permanent home elsewhere and just need the room as a base for work.

We are a friendly and sociable couple and have successfully rented rooms on this basis for several years so if you would like a reference from a previous lodger we would be happy to provide that.

Fairford is a pretty Cotswold market town with two supermarkets, a chemist, post office, coffee shops and pubs. There is also a small gym in the town and a large leisure centre in nearby Cirencester.
