Would you like to share the home of a friendly, older gentleman who is interested in classical music, reading, watching nature programmes and University Challenge?
Two double bedrooms are available for the right person. The house is located in the quiet, friendly village of Longhope, 15 minutes’ drive from Gloucester. The village shop and a fantastic bakery are a very short walk away. There are plenty of beautiful walking routes in the area. Ross on Wye and Cinderford are the nearest towns and they have good shopping facilities (7-8 miles). There is a regular bus to Gloucester and Ross on Wye.
This would suit a friendly, tidy, helpful person who would enjoy sharing company and cooking and eating some meals together. A driver would be ideal to assist with the weekly food shop, although the family are currently helping. Having the reassurance of there being someone in the house is very important.

Homesharing is a low cost arrangement because you give ten hours of your time each week helping with practical tasks, providing some companionship, and giving overnight security and reassurance for the householder. In return, you get a room in a safe environment with low outgoings. The Householder would like a contribution of £75 per month towards bills.
Homesharing is a lifestyle choice and is suited to mature, reliable people. If you have the energy and commitment at the end of your normal day to spend some of your evenings and weekends engaging with the householder and helping out, we would like to hear from you.
