Double room in quiet, comfy house.

Double bedroom

Hi, I have a double bedroom to rent out, furnished with a double bed, large chest of drawers, bedside table, small desk and chair, and a bookcase.

It is a 3 bedroomed house with a large, south-facing garden and patio, so gets the sun all day. The house is situated in a cul-de-sac not far from Standish Woods and other lovely walks. There is a shared bathroom with both a shower and a separate bath, plus a downstairs loo. The kitchen has a dining table in it, as well as a washing machine and dishwasher. The living room is shared.

My daughter, 26, is currently living with me, but looking to move out soon. She spends a lot of the time out. We're both quiet and considerate, and are looking for someone similar. I also have a cute little whippet who loves people, curling up in warm places and running on windy hillsides.

I enjoy socialising and love impromptu conversations in the kitchen, and I also like to keep to myself sometimes while I recharge. I go away quite a lot as my partner lives in London; sometimes he comes to stay here, but much less often.

I'm looking for someone who appreciates a relaxed, peaceful home. Someone who is happy to contribute by helping to keep things ticking over (eg emptying a recycling bin) because they feel a part of the home rather than a guest. I enjoy sharing meals, watching films together, etc, but my life doesn't often allow time for this.

I'm allergic to perfume, so am afraid it can't be worn in the house. This also applies to strong-smelling antiperspirants.

Please note, we don't wear our shoes in the house.
