Bright quiet double room in house with garden

The house is in a quiet friendly and green cul-de-sac close to shops and Beckenham Place Park and well placed for both city and country. It's about 15min walk to Beckenham Junction train station and to trams and about 10 minutes walk to Ravensbourne train station (depending on how fast you walk!). Trains to Victoria, London Bridge and Blackfriars. There are also bus stops within 5 minutes walk serving Crystal Palace and Bromley.
I'm easy going with a partner who will be in and out of the house most days. We are both relatively quiet and in our early 60's so preferably looking for an older person to share with - but we are flexible. We are active and keen cyclists.
I work mostly from home with a separate study area but will appreciate quietness during the day. I get up quite early for work so tend to go to bed early, but we're both happy to have a chat or eat dinner together if we are around. We tend to relax by reading, watching a film or cooking after a day at work - and cycling weekends.
I like to keep it tidy and clean but not obsessively so and do have a cleaner fortnightly and that will also help with your room . We have a sunny front garden and deck and a suntrap of a rear garden where we eat most of the summer. We also grow some of our own fruit and veg that you would be able to share!
We're looking for somebody ideally mature quiet, tidy and respectful and somebody who is in the office some days rather than always working from home.
The room is a bright sunny comfortable double, fully furnished with a double bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and a small desk and chair. The furniture is vintage and needs a little tlc but I would be willing to replace if you preferred.
The bathroom (large shower and bath) , kitchen and living spaces are all shared. There is also a conservatory including somewhere to store a bike if you are a cyclist (you will be very welcome!).
There is free on street parking and a parking court next to the house so parking is never a problem. Bills will be included - assuming you use common sense and excluding Council Tax - Band D (subject to discussion). I have advertised this as 7 days but would be happy to discuss flexible lets of 3-5 days pw with rent adjusted to suit.
Its a great area with Beckenham High Street shops, cafes bars easy walking distance as well as Beckenham Place Park within a 10min walk. Its a green and quiet place to live but with great transport links into town serving Victoria, London Bridge and Blackfriars. Crystal Palace is also nearby or you can head out into the Kentish countryside. We have the best of both worlds.
