Double Bedroom in Friendly House With Dog

We’re a friendly, easy-going lesbian couple looking for the right person to rent our spare room in our lovely 2-bed detached house in Hornchurch.

A bit about us:
We’re easy-going, sociable, and like a chat, but we also value our own space, so we’d love to find someone similar. Someone who’s happy to be friendly, watch a film, and have the odd catch-up, but also enjoys doing their own thing. We love watching films, playing pool, cooking nice food, having BBQs, walking the dog, playing board games, and having the occasional glass of wine. It’s a calm, relaxed home, so we’re looking for someone who is respectful, friendly, clean, tidy and easy to live with. Ideally, we’re looking for a professional who isn’t always working from home.

We also have a very friendly goldendoodle who absolutely loves people, so you’d need to be happy with a dog in the house.

About the room:
The room is a good-sized double with a really good quality bed and mattress. The bed is ottoman style, so there’s loads of storage underneath, and there’s also a cupboard with some extra storage and a couple of shelves. You’d just need to bring any extra furniture you might want, like drawers or a desk. I’ve included a couple of photos so you can see how it’s been set up before.

About the house:
The house has an upstairs bathroom with a shower, plus a downstairs toilet. There’s a big, spacious living room that you’re welcome to relax in whenever you like, and an open-plan kitchen leading out to a large garden that gets loads of sun. There’s also free parking on the road.

About the location:
The location is great, about a 10-minute walk from Hornchurch Station on the District line, and really close to Harrow Lodge Park, which is lovely in the summer. The town centre is also only about 10 minutes away, with all the usuals - pubs, supermarkets and restaurants etc.

Rent includes all bills.
