The house is located in a beautiful and peaceful area in Oakwood surrounded by public parks and the lovely Boxers lake (2 minutes walk). This location is perfect for nature lovers and those who would like a quiet home life while being within easy reach of the city centre. There are 2 local busses that stop right outside the house, which run to either Oakwood tube station (5 minutes) or Enfield town, ponders end, crews hill or north Middlesex hospital. There are lots of other nearby bus stops and train stations.
There is free on road parking for residents directly in front of the house.
The live-in landlord is a gentleman in his early 80s who is very easy-going, friendly and active, and spends his days socialising with friends, running errands, looking after his cat, tending to the garden or watching TV in his separate lounge. The other tenant is a kind and respectful professional man in his 30s who works in the city and keeps to himself while he's at the house. The landlord is looking for someone who will have a quiet lifestyle, ideally who works out of the house on most weekdays.
The shared areas include a bathroom (with bathtub and shower) kitchen and dining room, utility area and lovely sunny garden. Although use of the kitchen is shared and welcomed, his personal preference is that his new tenant will not be frequently cooking elaborate/lengthy meals.
There is one very sweet and friendly cat living in the home so please do not apply if you are not a fan of cats!
I am the landlords goddaughter and will be helping him screen applicants initially.
