Room for rent in a 2 bed bungalow

I am a 25 year old woman, I have been renting this property with my friend for the last 3 years. She is relocating and I am really keen to stay in this house.

It is a 2 bedroom bungalow, attached to the main house which is occupied by our landlady.

There is a communal area, which contains the lounge and kitchen - there is ample storage in the kitchen. One of the bedrooms is larger than the others, and I would be open to discussing swapping rooms/adjusting the rent to reflect this. The bathroom is off of the communal area and has a shower, toilet and sink.

I have 2 cats, and they are both indoors. One is a 14 year old black cat (named Frankie) and the other is an 8 year old tabby who is fully blind (her name is Jade). I would obviously take care of all the pet responsibilities, but I'm keen for a housemate who would bond with them as they are both very affectionate and loving. I also want a housemate who will be willing to take the necessary precautions to help make sure they both stay indoors (such as closing lounge/bedroom doors before opening the front door, and not leaving communal windows open unattended)

I am a vegan, and would prefer if my housemate was either vegan or vegetarian. But it is not a requirement - we can arrange the fridge and cupboards as required!!

A bit about myself: I work for St Mungo's homelessness charity in Hammersmith and Fulham, I am really passionate about my work! I do painting and yoga in my spare time, and I really like to cook. I have a longterm partner who stays over occasionally, but this will always be discussed in advance:)

I'd really like to be friends with the person who moves in, so I think it would be a good idea for us to meet up in person and see if we get along:)

The room will be available from March 2025, and the lease is signed for either 6 months or a year. I am starting my search now so we all have time to make the necessary arrangements and get things sorted with plenty of time!
