The arrangement is that the lodger would agree to provide 10 to 15 hours a week of their spare time in exchange of affordable accommodation which is £250 per month. The support is friendly company, dog walking and some cooking. This could work well for a mature student or a working professional.

🗺️ LOCATION:
This is a great location. The home is on the river near to Church Road Market, Twickenham. Twickenham station is a 10-15minute walk away. There is a very good bus transport to Twickenham. Please review the map on this advert for the approximate location. We are unable to share the exact location.

🗝️ THE HOUSE:
The house has 4 bedrooms, as well as this, it has a basement flat. The main house is full of beautiful decorative mementos, art and collections. It is bright and very welcoming.
The room available – it’s actually a large basement flat which has 2 large rooms, a bedroom and a livingroom/ kitchenette, as well as an ensuite with shower. There is electrical heating. Please see attached photos. The flat is newly decorated. It is not your typical gloomy basement flat.

A friendly dog is welcome so long as they get on well with the resident dog, a 6 year old Labrador. He is neutered. This is not appropriate for anyone with a cat.

🛌THE IDEAL COMPANION:
The retired lady is looking for a lodger who adores dogs. Regular dog walking is very important. There are several parks and river walks – it is a great location. The landlady is looking for a lodger over 30 years that can assist up to 15 hours a week with cooking 2 to 3 times a week, occassional trips to the theatre or cinema, adhoc shopping errands. This will suit someone working from home or someone working from their office. The landlady is 70 and has dementia. She is warm and friendly and loves cooking Italian food! She struggles to follow recipes so having someone prepare a meal along side her would be ideal.
***Please note that the Labrador does pull hard on the lead. He has good recall and is well-behaved indoors.
