Large double room with en-suite in Ancoats 🌞

Hiya, im looking for a new flat mate to move into my flat in Ancoats from 1st June as my current flatmate is moving in with her partner.

The flat is located in one of the popular Manchester Life buildings and is located next to the marina so is a great location, with a tram stop a few mins away and gym, Aldi, bars, coffee shops and Pure Gym all within a 10 min walk.
The building also has a residents room, 24/7 concierge and access to one of the other Mcr Life building gyms. It also has a secure car park, but this is an extra monthly cost and there’s typically a waitlist.

The room itself is unfurnished, but with a walk in wardrobe so no need to buy one and an en-suite. The pictures are of my room as my flatmate is in the middle of moving out but the layout is the same. The flat comes with fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher and a washer dryer. It has a separate utility and storage cupboard so lots of room! I’ve furnished the living/kitchen area so you wouldn’t need to bring anything although you’re welcome to bring your own bits/plates/glasses etc if you wish. No men or students please.

The building is also pet friendly, so happy for you to come armed with a furry pal but they do require an extra deposit for this.

Manchester Life will also conduct reference checks before approving you for the new tenancy.

Rent is £614 a month and bills are typically £170 incl electric, water, internet and council tax.

About me:
I’m 29 and work for a youth charity, with typically 2/3 days in the office and the rest wfh.

I love to cook and typically spend my weekends catching up with friends, going for drinks, dinners, gigs, relaxing or just a good old mooch. I’m always down for an activity but equally enjoy a night in watching trash tv. I’m quite an outgoing person but also enjoy my own space/company so happy to respect yours too. There’s no cleaning rota here, just want someone who is happy to chip in and keep the place clean and tidy. It’d also be fab to have someone move in to be friends with rather than just flatmates.
