Bright, Cosy Double Room in Didsbury Apartment

Hello! I’m looking for a clean, respectful, and friendly housemate to take over a double room in my lovely 2-bed apartment in Didsbury.

I currently sublet from my flatmate, who is moving in with her partner, and I’m looking for someone to take on the tenancy with me. The landlord is aware I will be taking over the tenancy.

The room is available from 1st May.

Bright and cosy double room with a calm, neutral feel.
• Furnished or part-furnished depending on preference
• Includes chest of drawers and wardrobe
• Option to include double bed and desk
• Recently decorated with carpets less than a year old

🏠 The Apartment

A warm, homely 2-bed apartment on a quiet, leafy street.
• Shared kitchen/dining area with all appliances, including a washing machine
• Shared bathroom
• Gorgeous southwest facing balcony
• Shared garden
• Garage space for extra storage
• Unrestricted on-street parking (plenty of space)
• Fully furnished (I’ll be buying furniture from current flatmate, so everything will stay)

It’s a small, friendly building where neighbours know each other and are very respectful—so it’s important to keep things peaceful.

👩 About Me

I’m Ruth – super friendly, sociable, and easygoing. I work in the Civil Service and mostly work from home, usually going into the office 1–2 days a week. I’m happy to live with someone who also WFH.

I like to keep the flat clean, chilled and respectful - ideal for someone who appreciates a peaceful home to relax in after work. I am out and about often, but equally love a night in relaxing and am not looking for someone to only be passing ships with - I would like to be friends with the person I live with! :)

Whilst I am very sociable this is by no means a party place, I am happy for people to have friends over but nothing that will disturb me or any of the residents in the building from getting a good night sleep (it is a small, sociable building and everyone knows each other well and are super respectful! ).

📍Location:
Didsbury Village - very close to the high street, tram stop and bus stops, whilst also being super quiet (it is really perfect!)
