I’m a Live-in Landlord, so I try to ensure the place is clean and tidy and that people respect both the house and each other. We tend to win over other places, people who’ve stayed have told me that lots of them are dirty, with piles of pots in the kitchen because some people don’t bother cleaning/washing up! I also try to ensure that the place feels like “Home” not just “a place you live”!

We’re all working professionals looking for professional, male/female to share. Ideally, you’ll be clean, tidy, respectful to others and not a hermit; we like to interact with each other but also respect people’s privacy. You'd be joining myself (Chris), David, George, and Emma in a laid-back environment.

The street’s a cul-de-sac, so it's nice and quiet, there's not too much traffic and has on-street parking.

House is a large modern Victorian Semi over 3 floors + converted Cellar (my pad) with: -
* Large shared lounge with 2 x comfy sofas
* Large well stocked Kitchen with 2 x American fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher
* 5 bedrooms
* 3 bathrooms – 1 shared between 3 rooms with bath, large shower, toilet
* Large well-maintained landscaped gardens with Patio, Lawn, Pond and huge Shed

Internet/TV: -
* Each room has its own personal Sky Q box and 32” TV
* Option to use one of the 2 Chromecasts or 2 Roku sticks with Amazon Prime Movies
* Subscription to all Sky Channels
* Unlimited ultrafast 500mb Fibre Broadband with fast wireless Wi-Fi for Internet access – wired ethernet in some rooms

Ideal central location with easy access to: -
* Eccles Town Centre – about 5 mins walk
* Trafford Centre – about 5 mins by car/taxi, 15 mins by Bus or 20 min walk
* Trafford Park – about 5 mins by car/taxi or 20 mins by Bus
* Salford Royal – about 10 mins by car/taxi or Bus
* Salford Quays - Media City/Lowry – about 10 mins by car/taxi or 17 mins Tram/Bus
* Salford University – about 15 mins by car/taxi or Bus
* Central Manchester – about 30 mins by Car/taxi or 40 mins Tram/Bus (40) or Train

* Tram – 5 min walk to Eccles Tram Station with easy access to Quays/Manchester

* Train - 10 min walk to Eccles Train Station, on the Salford Central and Victoria line
* Motorways – M60/M62 about a mile away in both directions, so easy to get about by car

I really enjoy meeting/helping all the different kinds people as they move on through the on journey of life. Your stay here will most likely be a small part of your life and I’ll be trying to make it a happy phase, where you can chill/grow and get ready to move on to the next stepping stone.

I've been renting rooms for many years now and some of the people who've stayed are now good friends. I’m not expecting people to stay for years but it’s nice when they do. For instance, David’s been here for 9+ years and Emma for 7+ years, and George 4+ years. Zoe who’s leaving was here for just a year and is having to relocate because of her job. So, I guess I must be doing something right! Maybe it’s because of my policy of trying to not increase peoples rent if they stick around. For example, Emma’s paying £500 for a room that I’d now advertise for £700-750, David’s paying £500 for one that would be £650-700 and George is paying £400 for a room that would now be £550-600. So, it pays to stick around here!

I try to always find a mix of people who will all get along; see photo of one of our Christmas parties in the cellar room – I often get a “House Goose” for a Christmas meal/party if we have the right mix of people and everyone’s around.

We want to find someone who we can all get on with, who will add to the great atmosphere we already have. The house is a social house where I try to encourage everyone to talk to each other and interact.

BTW: Animal lovers are especially welcome as we all love animals especially Cats, I have a chilled Bengal female (Minky). I used to Breed Bengal Cats and loved having lots of kittens around but it was taking too much of my time and interfering with my with work, so I had to give it up (for now?). So, you’ll need to be OK with having a chilled cat around the place all the time!
