We have a room available in our home and are looking for someone who’s a great fit for our lifestyle. We’re both busy professionals who work hard during the week and really value a calm, relaxed, and quiet home environment, especially on weekends.

We’re ideally looking for someone aged 30+ with a similar routine. The room would best suit someone who works regular, consistent hours outside the home. While there is some shift work in the household, the home is kept very quiet with a steady routine. For that reason, it wouldn’t be suitable for someone with a lifestyle involving frequent late nights, overnight activity, or regularly changing schedules that could disrupt the household.

We’re friendly and easy to get along with, but we each lead our own independent lives and schedules. This isn’t a social house share, it’s more of a peaceful, grown-up environment, which we really value and are hoping to maintain.

We’re also looking for someone who is clean, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces, and who will contribute to keeping the home a comfortable place to live for everyone.

To keep the household comfortable, the room is for a single occupant only and isn’t suitable for couples. We also prefer not to have partners or regular overnight guests.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, desk, and wardrobe. Outside, there’s a small back yard and on-street parking.

You’ll also have access to a shared living room, washing machine, plenty of fridge/freezer space, and lots of kitchen cupboard storage.

There are great transport links, with the 111 bus to town available just at the top of the road.

The room is available from 01/05/26. Rent is £400 per month, which includes all bills. A £200 deposit is required, along with two references (one from your employer and one from a previous landlord).
