INTRODUCTION

I am looking for a housemate who is not a lodger but someone who is a friend living with me. I've typically lived with friends so having someone that could be a lodger isn't appealing to me.

THE HOUSE

The house is recently fully renovated to the highest standard as I am a live in landlord. I've made some great additions like making the house technologically advanced by being a "smart home"

Features include open plan living area with access to low maintenance garden via bi-fold doors with outdoor lights and outdoor heater, smart technology across the entire house, sophisticated alarm system and well-designed hallways, lobbies and communal areas. Firswood tram stop is less than two minutes away; Ideally located near the city centre and Chorlton, also a short distance away from MediaCity events and amenities are close by. Also, great access to motorways (M60/M62/M61). The place also has a fob operated secure entry at front of the building.

Longford Park is a stone throws away which is a big park for a lovely walk and greenery.

Some key restaurants only a stone throw away are: Nandos (for a "cheeky Nandos" or those who update their Facebook status to let everyone know they're having a poultry based dish), Croma, Brewski Bar, The Beagle (for the hipsters amongst you), Chorlton Tap and a Weatherspoons. For those with a finer taste there is a Alchemist a short tram ride away and if you wish to be caffeinated during your mornings there are also Costa Coffees close too.

ABOUT ME

I am a young(ish) professional who is pretty busy with either work or sports (football , cricket and gym) during the week. I don't tend to go out every weekend (so not a party animal) as I've slowed things down since getting older but do go out for a few drinks on the odd weekend.

I do need an animal lover as I have a cat and puppy that lives in the house. They are both polar opposites in personality! The cat is not the most friendly (at first) to new people and people tend to have a "love-hate" relationship with him so be warned!!! Whereas the puppy will be right up in your face to cuddles and attention as well as wanting to play.

My work commitments mean I have sporadic weeks where I am traveling a lot and may stay in hotels a few nights (which leaves you alone with the "devil cat" and the overly friendly puppy) or sometimes I may have whole weeks where I work from home.

TENANT

I am looking for a non-smoking, responsible young professional person, who gets on with people and who plays their active part in keeping the place clean and tidy. I am going to be picky about who I choose to live with me as it's important that we get along and we respect each other as housemates and friends.

Ideally you're an incredible cook who is adamant about feeding me Michelin grade meals (you have tough competition as my previous housemate can do my favourite dessert, cheesecake!), a fitness instructor who will motivate me to shed those pounds I've gained from said meals and possibly wear a cape at night to fight crime. However, being realistic I can make do without one or two of those things.
