We have a large, bright, fully furnished double bedroom in a spacious 3 bed house just next to Hulme park coming up to rent early September. The 3rd bedroom is just a spare room though, so there will only be the two of us living there.
It's a ten minute walk to Oxford Road, and about 13 mins to Deansgate (I have timed it!) Stretford Road is just outside with its many frequent buses to Piccadilly or the other way to Chester Rd / Trafford Park. There is a gym on the doorstep, and a massive Asda and market / shopping centre 5 mins walk away.

This will be a 50/50 share, so you'll not be a lodger, and will have full share of living room, kitchen, and bathrooms. The whole house is beautifully furnished, is quite girlie and elegant, and includes fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances, and a dining table for 4, huge living space with TV, wifi, and massive corner sofa that is also a double bed when required. There is a bathroom upstairs with bath and shower which is shared, plus an additional downstairs toilet. The garden is large and well kept, gets lots of sun and is perfect for sitting out in when the weather's nice.

There is an attic and plenty of other additional storage space if needed.
There is a private, gated car park at the back of the house with space for one car and I don't use it so it's all yours if you want parking.

You will be sharing with me. I'm Jen, and I work full time in Trafford Park in finance for a global retailer. I also do casual bar work for events and sports. I'm a Manchester native and know this city like the back of my hand, so happy to introduce a newcomer to all the Manchester delights and distractions. I'm a top housemate so I'm told, and have shared loads over the years, so know what works and what doesn't. I do work too much, and probably swear too much, but I'm never miserable or moody at all and am easy to live with. I'm very outgoing, am out a lot, and stay at my boyfriend's most weekends, but when home like to share a chat or a meal with my housemate, or listen to some tunes together over a few beers. I very occasionally have friends stay over, and do love a big night out and the occasional very late night with mates after going to a club or a gig, but only ever at weekends, and even this is pretty rare, and I always check with housemates first (mainly to see if they'd like to join us!) The rest of the time I'm fairly sensible, and work from home in the evenings or just watch a bit of TV when I'm here.

Would be great to have someone grown up but who still likes to enjoy themselves and be friends with their housemate. The house is kept clean and tidy and there must be respect for each other's possessions and personal space to create a warm, friendly, fun and relaxed home for us.

This is a private rental, and is for 12 months while my current housemate, who owns our house, is working abroad. When she comes back, she will be living here again, and one of us will have to move out but that will be discussed nearer the time :-)

No couples, and we say no students but could perhaps consider mature / grad / PhD students. There is no discount on offer though for students. Female preferred mainly just for each other's comfort and probably for sharing of things :-) but not a deal breaker. References may be required and proof of ID will be required. Other than that, it's a fairly simple process and we look forward to meeting you soon
