Hello!

I’m Liz and I live with my housemate Lauren and our 3 cats - Monty, Wonk and Lars. We are looking for another housemate to join in the fun.

We are both out at work a fair bit, but when we’re in we do a lot of Netflix watching and relaxing with the cats. Lauren’s also a bit of a baker so there’s often cookies or muffins involved.
I bought the house five years ago and did a lot of work to get it feeling like a cosy home. I put a new kitchen in with electric oven and gas hob and plenty of cupboard space. There's also most basic cooking equipment in the kitchen - plenty of pans and utensils, a microwave, toaster and kettle. We also have a Nespresso machine amongst many other ways of making coffee.

The lounge is super cosy, with two couches and a 43 inch smart tv. There is also an extendable dining table and chairs.

There is a large, modern bathroom with a separate bath/shower and electric shower. There is shelving for storage in here.

The basement of the house serves as a utility area with a washing machine and ample extra fridge and freezer space - there is a small fridge in the kitchen for everyday items.

There is also a good sized yard which is a great sun-trap when the weather is good.

The available room is the large front room upstairs. It’s really light and has loads of storage. It is furnished with the following:

Double bed and mattress
Bedside table and lamp
Wall mounted mirror vanity cupboard
Large chest of drawers
Three wardrobes with heaps of storage space - hanging, shelves and drawers
Versatile desk with lamp and chair
Over-bed shelf
Standing full length mirror

The price for the room covers all bills including wifi, council tax, gas, electric and water.

The property has been rewired to meet all safety standards and there are interlinked smoke alarms in every room. The entrance hall and landing also have motion sensor lights for safety and convenience.

The house is a two minute walk from Aldi and other local shops and takeaways. It is also very close to bus stops on main routes. There are several parks a short walk away and it’s about a 30 minute downhill walk to Salford Quays - or a much quicker cycle! It is also very handy for Salford Royal Hospital.
