Hi guys,
My current flatmate is moving out, so I am looking for a compatible new flatmate.
The Vita Living development is absolutely stunning! It is pet-friendly, just off Oxford Road, and has fantastic amenities included in the monthly rent. We have access to both the North and East buildings, and they are for professionals only. The amenities include:
- a residents gym
- 24/7 concierge
- Wi-Fi across the whole development, including rooftops
- five private dining rooms for entertaining
- large residents lounges
- coworking spaces and bookable meeting rooms
- rooftop terraces
- a secure bike storage
- residents events
- a secure car park for an additional £130 per month
The modern flat contains two luxury king-sized en-suite bedrooms, with built-in double wardrobes offering plenty of storage space. Vita Living’s bedrooms are completed to the highest specification with floor-to-ceiling blackout blinds, LED spotlights, USB sockets and the finest vinyl timber flooring. Your bedroom has a walk-in rainfall shower. The flat has a bright open-plan living room and kitchen space with a kitchen island and four bar chairs.
Please view the attached video of the flat on the ad.
The bills are paid on top of the rent, with electric and water costing roughly £210 a month, council tax £165 a month, cable tv £22 a month, tv license £150 annually - all split 50/50 between us. Broadband is included in rent.
I work as a remote Events Manager, mostly from the kitchen table, and sometimes from the coworking spaces, with occasional travel. I am an extroverted introvert and I use my home as a peaceful haven to relax and recharge my batteries.
With me working remotely, I do spend a lot of time in the flat, so it's very important that our lifestyles do not clash in this area.
Therefore the perfect flatmate would be someone who works full-time out of the home, or in a hybrid model. I value mental health, joy, nature, and dogs are most definitely welcome! The building is pet friendly, and I am happy to help look after your pet if you choose to bring one with you. A definite NO to smokers.
As far as I know there is no fee for changing the name on the lease, but in case there are any hidden fees, my current flatmate will cover it. We are former colleagues and friends, so she wants to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone.
My current flatmate will move out by the 1st of June, so I am looking for the new tenant to move in on or near the same date. Ideally I'd like someone to stay until the end of the lease in September, and then sign a new 12 months tenancy agreement with me.
As the new tenant, you will need to pass the referencing process and meet the below requirements:
- UK resident, or have lived in the UK for 5 or more years
- Full-time employment, NOT in a probation period
- Earning annually 30 times the monthly rental amount (your portion of the rent multiplied by 30)
- No adverse credit
- Correct visas if applicable
Please let me know when you'd like to come to view the flat and the development. I am quite flexible as I work from home, I am available most of the time. Let me know some key things about yourself such as age, nationality, what do you do for work etc. Looking forward to meeting you!
