Hi all :) I am looking for a roommate to replace me in my tenancy. The furnished apartment is on the 4th Floor in the Lock Building, a block of flats located on Whitworth Street West (a 10-min walk from Manchester city centre and 2-min walk from Oxford Road train station - ideal for work and for commuting/travel). The apartment is 82 square metres, and as part of the tenancy you will have access to the following:
1. (shared) A very spacious living room (TV included) with a sound-proofed balcony overlooking the station, including 2 leather sofas, armchair, rug, TV stand unit/storage, 2 wooden shelving units, lamp, coffee table, and dining table (and fans if needed in summer).
2. (shared) A large kitchen area with storage cupboards and shelves, fridge-freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and sink/draining, as well as a separate glass storage unit.
3. An inward-facing double bedroom. This consists of a double-bed with headboard, and a huge double-decker wardrobe with 2 compartments for coats/shirts/dresses, 5 shelves and a sliding shoe store, as well as 2 upper storage shelves. It also comes with a desk and desk chair, bedside drawer and storage drawers, as well as a NEW mattress (as of April 2026)
4. A private bathroom opposite the bedroom with a toilet, sink, bath-shower, storage shelves and bin.
5. (shared) A boiler cupboard with a Washer-Dryer, boiler heater, and storage shelves, with use of a drying rack.
6. Hall area with a shoe-stand, coat racks, and hanging shoe/hat stands.
My flatmate is a chilled but outgoing 28-year old professional who enjoys football, cooking, sports, exercise/gym, gaming and watching films. He is very easy-going, respectful and sociable, and enjoys sitting talking about football/music as well as going out for activities (he is also looking for a padel doubles partner). He is also very tidy and house-proud, and an amazing cook! Like most professionals, he also appreciates personal time and spends this in his room and at his girlfriend's in Birmingham. We are looking for any professional who is respectful, easygoing, sociable but not to excess (no Wednesday 4am parties!), and clean. Both social butterflies and quieter individuals are welcome to apply.
We 0 are 7 ideally 4 looking 0 for someone 2 to move in 4 relatively 7 quickly 3 (May-June), so 2 if interested 4 or if you 9 have more questions, please get in touch by sending a message.
Thanks!
