Hi! I live in Salford Quays, Manchester, in a new build. My current flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend so her room will be available in the flat from 12th January 2026, and I’m looking for a long-term flatmate.

You’ll be sharing with me — I’m a 24-year-old professional athlete who also studies health psychology part-time.

I love a chat about anything, enjoy cooking and trips to big Tesco. My boyfriend also lives in Manchester so is usually over a few days a week. I’m away for training camps and competitions for around 2–3 months each year, so if you enjoy having plenty of space to yourself, this setup is ideal.

The flat has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I have the ensuite, so the second bathroom (accessed through the shared kitchen/living area) will essentially be yours alone.

Bills come to roughly £170 each per month, including council tax (Band C), energy, water, and WiFi. Electricity is currently paid on a flat rate throughout the year.

The location is great:
• White City Retail Park is a 10–15 minute walk away, and there’s a small Co-op right next door.
• The flat is next to the Quays and the Lowry Outlet for shopping, cafés, and leisure.
• Several tram stops are within walking distance - the closest, Exchange Quay, is just 2–3 minutes away. You can reach the city centre in about 10–15 minutes.
• PureGym is also very close, next to the tram stop, which is ideal if you like to lift or train regularly.

I am looking for a flatmate who loves a chat and is easy going. As an athlete I have to prioritise my sleep so would need someone who would respect that. If you have a pet cat then that is a massive plus! All genders and identities are welcome.
