Fully furnished double room in Stretford

Living Room / improv gym space

Hello, I’m Anna and I am looking for someone to rent the spare bedroom in the 2 bed house I rent in Stretford :)

It’s a lovely terraced house, just between the Mall and Victoria Park, close to the tram line as well as buses going to City centre, Didsbury, Urmston and the Trafford Centre. I’ve been in the neighbourhood for over 10 years and it’s a quiet and safe area. It only takes 20 minutes walking into Chorlton and about 20 minutes to get into the city centre on public transport.

The spare room is the large front room on the first floor. Double bed, bedside table, 2 chest of drawers, a small mirror, desk and chair and a built in wardrobe.

We share the rest of the house; good size bathroom (tub/shower) upstairs, and downstairs you find the back room (dining room/space for laundry & bikes), kitchen and front room with a fireplace. There’s a little bit of space in front of the house and a small backyard.
There’s a fair bit of storage space indoors and in the shed in the backyard. No off-street parking but you can get a parking permit through the council. There’s a washing machine (we have a laundrette around the corner if you need a dryer or dry cleaning), TV with streaming services, DVD player and chrome cast.

What I offer is a home, not just a house. We all need privacy and peace and quiet, but I would really like to find someone who wants to spend some time together when we’re at home, even when it’s just binge watching Netflix, have a rum & coke, go out for a drink or just a board game.

About me:

I’m very easygoing, no drama, a social introvert and will always show a lot of respect for whoever I share the house with.

I work in an office doing admin stuff, just a regular 9-5 job, and out of work I do a lot of cycling, going for walks, and just getting used to “normal life” again and remembering that there is more to my world than the 4 walls of my front room 😅 I love being outdoors but also love my home.

My clubbing days are well and truly over, but of course I’m like anyone else who enjoys going out for a few ever so often :) And for me, rock and heavy metal is equally as important as Eurovision and when I can’t be bothered to cook, I have popcorn for tea.
