I have a good-sized double room available to rent, in a large semi-detached house on a quiet cul-de-sac. Furnished, including double bed, desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Room is available from 20th October.

Plenty of on-street parking, a lovely big garden and overlooking fields makes this a really desirable location.

Other rooms available include an office, very large kitchen, living room, music room, utility room, a bathroom and additional toilet.

Council tax band D. Bills mostly included, to be discussed.

- 5 minute walk to bus stop to take you into Altrincham and further afield

I am a 76-year-old retired teacher/youth worker. I'm still very active and outdoorsy, with access to lots of equipment - canoeing, cycling, hiking etc is available if that floats your boat. I can offer lifts if needed, or introduce you to the local area.

I also have a lovely dog called Keenu, who lives with me some of the time when he isn't with my adult son in the local area. He's a little nervous around new people but quickly warms up, and is a very gentle soul without an aggressive bone in his body.

The other person living here is a female Ukranian refugee, who has been with me for over a year and is here under the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
