Lovely room in 2/3 bedroom house available

Spare room available in a lovely 2/3 bedroom terraced house in the heart of Uppermill. The house is in a great location with on-street parking right outside, and the train station is just half a mile away – only a 20-minute train journey straight into Manchester, so it’s perfect if you commute but still want that village feel.

The house has a cosy shared living room with a wood burner (ideal for winter evenings), plus a well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob and oven, washer and dryer, and loads of storage space throughout. It’s a warm, homely space with plenty of character.

I live here with my cat, Gizmo, so you’d need to be cat-friendly! I’m into all things artsy and love being outdoors, going for drives, and making the most of the countryside around us. I also spend a lot of time playing, writing and performing music. My boyfriend visits, but this is very much a calm and comfortable home rather than a party house.

I’m looking for a housemate who’s tidy, organised and happy to share the responsibility of keeping the place nice. Someone chatty, approachable and friendly would be great — I’d love it to feel like a home, not just a house share. Bonus points if you appreciate good food and enjoy the odd catch-up in the living room by the fire.
