I'm looking for a new flatmate starting in late May as my current flatmate is moving in with their partner (my current flatmate is paying rent till 23rd May 2024 but the move-in date can be arranged and discussed).
I'm Cheryl, a 28 year old queer enby Singaporean and I will be staying in Manchester for another 2 more years while I do my PhD in Education Studies. I love cooking, tabletop games, TV, and occasionally going out for shows, gigs, and food (: I love spending most nights in and spending time with my flatmate but I sometimes also need my space. Communication and cleanliness is fairly important to me.
The flat is very spacious, quiet, and comes with a huge garden space. While no pets are allowed (by the landlord), there are plenty of neighbourhood cats that hang around. We also have a very good relationship with many of our neighbours and it's a sweet little community. It's a cute old Victorian building but unfortunately has bad insulation, so heating costs are rather high.
