Room With Own Bathroom Near Lush Park

I'm renting my spare room which is a medium sized okay room in a lovely flat. It faces south and west so you get the morning and evening sun. It looks out over trees and gardens and a small orchard and has a lovely spacious view. The bus stop for route 85 is right outside for easy access to the city centre, Universities and Chorlton (but the flat is at the back so it is away from the noise of the road). Walk across the park for direct buses to the airport or down a bit further to the tram.

It is opposite the beautiful Alexandra Park, arguably one of Manchester's nicest inner city parks with a lake, playing fields, tennis courts, yoga, football, cricket, and arguably Manchester's best parkrun, very green with lots of mature trees and woodland and a cooperative café in it (great place to take visiting friends or your laptop).

It is 2 miles south of Manchester city centre (6 minute drive, longer on the bus) and close to Chorlton cum Hardy, the most interesting suburb of the city IMHO! It is on the first floor, great for privacy and access and there is a lift... handy when moving furniture in and out.

It has excellent insulation so you will always be warm in the winter yet still cool during the summer heatwave. There is a garden and lovely outdoor seating area with little wood burner and wood pile. There is a nice community of people here so you can get to know people whilst still having plenty of your own privacy and space.

The second bedroom is reasonable but still nice. It is rectangular and has a window that looks over the orchard next door. This room would have the main bathroom of the flat which is not ensuite but just next to it. It has toilet, sink and bath with low shower.

There is a NEFF cooker and hob and washing machine and fridge. Video intercom system, wooden floors/carpet.

I work at home a lot during the day and am sometimes away with work. I'm quite relaxed and looking for someone peaceful to share with.
