Living Room

Hello. We are looking for a friendly flatmate to take on a double room and share our bright and colourful flat.

The available room is medium-sized, double-glazed and is painted white. The flat is spacious with high ceilings and many period features - it is the first floor of a Whalley Range mansion house and it is very light. There is a large living room, kitchen and bathroom and separate w. c. (wireless internet, digital TV, washing machine, fridge freezer etc). There is plenty of off-road parking and space for a bike inside. We are very close to Alexandra Park and handy for both town and Chorlton (the no. 85 bus stops right outside the door)

You would be sharing the place with Matilda and Jo - one of us works in interior design and the other in higher education. We get on well and hang out together at home sometimes - cooking, drinking tea/wine, watching films etc. We would like to find a housemate who is up for making the flat a nice place to live - both relaxed and sociable, and clean and tidy. When we are not at home we lead busy lives - films, food, pubs, gigs, clubs, theatre, running, yoga etc. We are both long-term tenants (9yrs & 6yrs), which is why the rent is so reasonable. It's a great place to live, previous flat mates have moved on to buy their own homes and we are all still friends.

The room is available from early February with a minimum commitment of 6 months. The rent is 275pcm - this does not not include bills, which work out at approx £100 a month.
