Laid back happy housemate wanted for my apartment

My chill pad, complete with piano!

Hello Everybody!

Im looking for a housemate to come and share the living space I reside in from the beginning of October. My girlfriend is moving to London for her new job and it would be great to have a likeminded happy chappy/chappette come and take the spare room in my lovely apartment that is based 20 seconds walk to Withington centre.

I am a sound engineer and do work from home occasionally while also teaching music production at schools round Manny. Im looking to find a likeminded housemate, possibly someone musically driven and to share in creative nerdiness. Im a electronic music fan (techno and dnb are my bread and butter but i love all music, not just the electronic type) and am a big fan of everything retro from classic gaming to top 80s film boxsets. I also LOVE a bit of Judge Judy in the morning, she cracks me up good and proper! Generally the house is a chill out zone, I do the washing up and keep it clean but its not militant.

Overall, I'm just a big kid with a big smile and a positive outlook on life and am looking to get someone to come and move in that would like to watch films, eat a pizza and laugh at the bad acting while having the occasional evening with a couple of beers.

There is a bit of a boho feel about the furnishings of the apartment with big green comfy couches, turkish rugs, hi-fi system for tunes and some sort of classic games system out for playing games on when bored.

Really, it would be nice to have a housemate that loves and cares for the flat, has a social life and enjoys a buzz but also isn't the kind of person to bring the party back to it. This is an apartment that has been lovingly added to over the years and I want it to be a comfortable home for you too but definitely not a location for the party.

The room in question is currently serving as my studio but if you would be interested in the room, it would be unfurnished. It is a double and is a little cozy but easily a double bed with space for everything you need in there too. The location is amazing for town and Withington, Chorlton, Didsbury ect so a mature or pretty sensible student or a professional would suit it well. All our rooms have high ceilings with period features that give the flat lots of space and character so you won't feel the cramped, claustrophobic conditions of a new build. We also have a piano! and a giant lounge so big it echoes :)
