Single room available at £290pcm including all bills in modern house in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the Monmouthshire countryside in the village of Little Mill.

The room shares a bathroom, downstairs WC, kitchen, garden and conservatory and
there is off road parking for an additional two cars. Includes all bills.

Public transport is limited as we are in a village location. There is a pub ("The Halfway") and a village hall (no shop) only.

We also have taken on a (male) lodger who is currently renting a double room.

Internet bandwidth is limited due to the rural location so timeouts can occur when streaming in the evenings. Ian works principally from home and therefore requires the majority of bandwidth during the day.

We are a married couple, with a son. who is currently home from Uni over the summer months (returning back at the end of September), plus occasional visits outside term time.

Both our current lodger and our son have asthma/allergies to cigarettes/vaping, so I'm afraid it's only open to non-smokers.

We are passionate about the environment and are currently trying to reduce our carbon footprint by, amongst other things, having solar panels fitted, saving water, recycling, making our own washing up liquid/soap nd following a "Flexitarian" diet!

Our other interests include walking in the countryside, reading, watching Tv documentaries, playing guitar (Ian) , and crafts (Susan).

From the bedroom windows you can see sheep on the hillside and down the lane there are horses grazing in a field.

As well as an abundance of birdlife for "twitchers", there are lovely walks or cycle rides to Llandegfedd Reservoir as well as the historic market town of Usk (4 miles), where there are several pubs, places to eat, "Museum of Rural Life" and the castle.
