City centre double room to rent

City centre property with a spare room available close to the M4 and a 5 minute walk from Newport train station.

A double room is available to rent in a spacious semi-detached period property with the use of a double bed, a double wardrobe, desk and chest of drawers. Mattress will be professionally cleaned before use, you will need to cover the cost of professional cleaning at the end of your stay.

The property is decorated and maintained to a very high standard. A clean and tidy housemate is expected. Someone who is willing to help with general cleaning would be appreciated, but not expected other than their own bedroom and after use of communal areas.

The existing occupant works from home and will be in the house during normal working hours. I would prefer someone that is not going to be home during daytime working hours.

On street parking is available.

There is one shared bathroom with a walk in shower and freestanding bath. I do expect the bathroom to be cleaned after use, the same rule applies to the kitchen in order to keep the communal areas hygienic for all.

No guests permitted.

Viewings are available and all applicants will need to provide a DBS check.
