I am offering a large furnished double bedroom to let.

NOTE: This is a short term let only; I am in the process of selling my house but a buyer fell through so I don’t expect to move until at least May 2026, possibly later. This might mean having house viewings if the house goes back on the market in March. I will give one month notice before the sale completes.

I have two living areas with wood burning stoves so one person can read by the fire while the other watches TV, plenty of space to spread out.

The house is in a quiet area of Talywain with excellent bus links (X24 every 15mins) from the end of the road to Blaenavon, Pontypool, Cwmbran or Newport.

This is an LGBT household so you’d need to be ok with this. I have two very fluffy cats (who think they own the place). They make great hot water bottles in the evenings!

The room comes complete with double bed, wardrobe, desk and two bookcases, you are welcome to bring your own furniture to add to this and I can help lift up the stairs etc.

All bills are included, if you want to use the wood burners we’ll split the cost of logs. Basic household items e. g. washing up liquid, loo roll etc are also included - I buy these in bulk.

The property is council tax band C, for info, but this bill is included.
