We’re a 28 year old female and 30 year old male (couple) looking for a housemate. I work from home (flexible online job), but intend to go away for a few days/weeks at a time to do some travelling/visiting friends soon. The house is ours and is not a HMO.
The house is a newly renovated 2 bedroom bungalow, with a spare parking space. I also have a garden and garage (happy to store a bike etc).
The living room, kitchen and bathroom would be shared spaces - I keep these areas as clean as possible purely because I dont like clutter, but I would expect my new housemate to keep it clean too. If you are not a tidy person and careful with things don’t apply.
Ideally you’re a super respectful person of noise, space and tidiness (cleaning up after yourself and helping around the house occasionally must happen.. I am not a maid.
About me: I'm a keen tennis player, spend most of the time I can outside the house (besides working), very DIY savvy and enjoy going to see friends. Love yoga and spirituality, also love a night out in London too on rare occasion.
Michael (my partner): tennis coach, friendly and likes the outdoors, mostly away weeknights and Saturdays for work
The area: The house resides in Lychpit, and is a very quiet area. 3 min walk to Tesco express, 10 minute cycle to the train station and shops, bus stop 2 mins walk away, Bartons Mill (lovely pub) 5 mins walk away.
Via the train Clapham Junction is less than 40 mins away, Waterloo 45 mins, Reading 20 mins. Very close to the M3 motorway too.
