Hi All

The cottage is in Old Bursledon and within a 12 minute walk to the station and the Jolly Sailor Pub (on the Hamble River). The airport, Universal Marina and NATs are a short distance away - approx 5 minute drive to get to the M27/A27 and 5 miles from Southampton (cycle and bus routes also available).

The room would be ideal for a professional person, who is independent, loves rural living / the outdoors - country walks, sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking and/or motor boats with a mix of winding lanes, cosy pubs and river/marina views. . there is also smaller room that would be perfect for one off let’s for Mon - Frid or Sun to Thur lets. £170 PW.. I will only be letting one or the other rooms and will offer a discount for students or key workers.

Bike storage, a shared kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine and and your own fridge freezer), free landline/mobile calls, ,
garden and off road parking. There is also a community orchard and allotment across the road, I would be happy to share a small patch with you to grow your own veg..

I am looking for someone who is sociable (but enjoys their own space), easy going, respectful of others and clean and tidy. There is a friendly cat at the house so if you have an allergy then the room/house might not be suitable.

Nearby villages include Swanwick, Hamble-le-Rice, Netley and Sarisbury Green (approx 1.2 m across country).

Several gyms are close by and footpaths/bridleways that lead to the Hamble, Manor Farm and the Royal Victoria Park..
