Double room to rent in a 2 bed Eastleigh house

Hello, my name is Katherine and I’m looking to rent out my spare double bedroom for £625 a month (all bills included).

HOUSE DESCRIPTION:

My house is a lovely furnished two bed Victorian terrace house which I also live in. It’s in the centre of Eastleigh, a 3 minute walk away from Eastleigh train station (with direct trains to Winchester, Southampton and London).

On the ground floor the hallway leads to a cosy lounge and bright dining room, linking to the kitchen. There is a dish washer, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen opens onto a lovely garden with a patio table, chairs, BBQ, well kept flower beds and a large shed.

Upstairs has a large three piece bathroom and two bedrooms. The bedroom to rent is very light and has a window with a view of the garden. I’ve furnished the bedroom with a double bed, mattress, chest of drawers, shelves, desk, chair and in-built wardrobe.

Parking is available in the street after purchase of a council parking permit. However there is potential to rent an off street parking space from a neighbour if desired. The property has gas central heating and hot water. No pets are allowed. I’m tidy and the house is professionally cleaned every other week.

ABOUT ME:

I’m a single female working as a healthcare professional in the NHS. I have owned the property for a couple of years and am now looking for a female house mate to join me. I love being active and outdoors (particularly swimming, cycling and gardening) and enjoy baking and good food with friends. I am a tidy, clean housemate who is very sociable.

I am looking to find a like-minded non-smoking professional female in approximately their 20-30s to live alongside. Preference will be given for someone working a similar 9am-5pm Monday-Friday working pattern as me. I work around 2 days a week from home and the rest in the office. If the new tenant also wanted space to work from home, this could be accommodated in their bedroom. I am looking for a housemate who is interested in undertaking shared cooking on occasion and thinks they would have something in common with me ☺️

I’m looking for someone to move in immediately on a rolling one month contract. A deposit of one month’s rent will be required and there will be a contract to sign.
