A furnished single room close to bath/shower room, in a pleasant detached bungalow in a rural location about 10 minutes drive from Chichester and Havant, and about 15 minutes drive from Portsmouth. Very close to the southern edge of Southdowns National Park.
It is within easy distance of all amenities with Southbourne, (and its’ excellent leisure centre and gym), and Westbourne with several shops and 3 good pubs within a mile. Emsworth and the picturesque harbour and many good shops and pubs are only a little further away, as is a beach in Chichester Harbour. 
The bungalow, on an unmade private road, has an attractive garden with lawn and fruit trees, secluded area, partly covered patio/social area with chiminea, BBQ,( great for partying outdoors even in winter as there is also a patio heater), fishpond, greenhouse.. Pets love it but there are no pets here at present. The boundary has hedges, fences and trees. There is ample off road parking in the large drive.
Security cameras are fitted to monitor access and car park areas.
It is a pleasant mature neighbourhood and the social centre of the hamlet is a good friendly, very popular pub with restaurant. Doctors, vet, shops and public transport are all within easy reach. Regular bus and train services run between Portsmouth, Brighton and London with up to 4 trains an hour in each direction. We are 20 minutes walk from the train station and bus stop but recommend you have some form of transport due to our location.
I live here with my son. Another housemate may rent a room here. We do not smoke, or allow drinking to excess, in the house. (but a shared bottle always goes down well).
Our interests include music, walking, the countryside, photography, socialising, computing and IT, cycling and relaxing etc. etc. We are easy going and enjoy good company.
We are looking to share with a sober, clean, respectable, sociable working person, male or female, who is willing to join in and share with the general household chores to keep the property clean and pleasant for all. It is a home, not a hotel. You would have use of dining room, lounge, kitchen, bathroom, shower room, patio and gardens. A freezer, a fridge and cupboards for food storage, combi TV, washing machine and drying facilities are available as is wireless broadband
Most bills are included in the rent.

For rental of less than 3 months there will be an upward adjustment to the rent charged.
Two, non-family references and Two weeks rent as deposit* plus one weeks rent are required before occupancy (this equalls 3 weeks rent). Rent is to be paid IN ADVANCE.
First deposit usually secures.
