Friendly House Share - Young Professionals

Looking for Young Professional/Mature student age 21-35

THE ACCOMMODATION:
We have a free double room in a semi-detached shared house. The house has recently been refurbished with new windows, heating system and new bathroom. The house consists of 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (with double door walk in shower), fitted kitchen, communal lounge, parking for 3 cars, and a spacious back garden with covered shelter for bikes, bbq etc. It’s bright and spacious and the decor is modern and homely. The bedroom is quiet and located at the front of the house. It comes equipped with a double bed, large chest of drawers, wardrobe, and bookshelf.

Facilities: wireless internet, Freeview television, washing machine and tumble dryer, electric oven, 2 fridges and 1 freezer. BILLS NOT INCLUDED (Gas, electrics and water, council tax = approx. £150 per month).

THE HOUSEMATES:
The house consists of 1 male, 1 female - both young professionals. We are all easy-going people with a shared interest in music, languages, cooking, travelling, sport and the arts.

This is not an undergrad student house, so we would expect a level of cleanliness to be maintained in the communal spaces. As we all work hard during the week, the house remains fairly quiet and relaxed (we like to watch films, eat good food and drink wine). However, we like to go out on the weekends and sometimes have friends over for dinner, bbq ect.

LOCATION:
The house is 2 mins walk from Southampton University main campus which hosts a range of convenient facilities such as a large leisure complex, the Hartley library, shops, pubs, a GP, and a pharmacy. Portswood high street is a mere 10min walk away which is the go-to place for grocery shopping (large Sainsbury's), takeways, bars, restaurants, post office etc. In terms of access to the city centre, there is a bus stop around the corner (1 minute walk) which goes directly into town (20 minutes). There is also a public playing field with tennis courts 5 minutes away. Lastly, Southampton Common is not far which is great during the summer months.
